Happy Place Cooking Space currently offers programming for adults with disabilities, IDD, or for those who require additional support. Our programming focuses on introducing and practicing, through repetition and with the use of a variety of accessible tools, skills that foster independence in the kitchen. Our goal is for every participant to experience the joy of discovery around new foods, cooking together, and having a positive experience in the kitchen.

Beginning this Fall 2025 (Registration is open!), we will be offering small group cooking classes for adults who are seeking to increase their independent living skills as it relates to cooking. Please see our flyer below and email us at hello@happyplacecookingspace.org to register.

For many of these classes, we work in partnership with several amazing organizations to support the unique needs of the participants. These classes are designed with accessibility in front of mind, so that everyone who wants a chance to participate can!

For more information on these classes, including having a child or loved one participate, volunteering, or offering this type of programming at your day program or organization, please email us at hello@happyplacecookingspace.org

Please note that, for children under age 18 with support needs, we love to include them in our existing programs for kids. Please visit our kids pages for upcoming classes and programming, and always email us with any questions you may have about your child attending class.

New to our classes? Join us for a fun, seasonal class this summer to learn how we teach cooking and integrate life skills into our classes. We’re offering a couple one-time all ages and abilities classes this summer, and we’d love to have you:

Please reach out to us if you have any questions about this class or other classes that we offer.
